Downhill scooter tour in Bohemian Switzerland

from the top of Sneznik to the Elbe River canyon

This fascinating scooter ride makes for an even more enjoyable descent than on a regular bike. You’ll feel like you’re flying down the paved forest trails in Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Parks. We’ll take you to places of incredible beauty, starting at the highest Czech table mountain,  Sneznik (el. 723 m) which we’ll just climb. When you’ve reached the top, you can enjoy stunning views of the mysterious, undulating landscape and the neighboring Bohemian Highland and Ore Mountains. Then it will be time to start your descent into Europe’s deepest sandstone canyon, the Elbe River canyon, a gorge with walls reaching heights of up to 300 m. The descent on this tour is 24 km and the total length is 45 km, duration 5-6 hours.

Many panoramas will open up to you as you travel through the undulating landscape of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Nearby are the city of Dresden and the neighboring Bohemian Highlands and Ore Mountains. To round off the tour we’ll have a meal for you, either a picnic basket stocked with local treats, or a stop at a local café. There are ascents and descents, and some cycling ability is necessary.

The tour starts at our rental shop and we’ll take you in our van to the Sneznik table top mountain. First  you’ll be equipped with touring scooter, a helmet, and a bottle of water. Afterwards you’ll visit this unique natural monument. The tour ends in Děčín at our bike rental shop.

2.)    Scooter downhill tour Bohemian Switzerland from Prague

Our full day active trip off Prague to Bohemian Switzerland. We will pick you up in Prague in the morning at your hotel. With our van we will bring you to Sneznik table top mountain in the national park where the scooter tour starts. During the journey you will learn a lot about the czech countryside. In the afternoon we will transport you back to Prague to your hotel.
